redemption just got nerfed last patch so it's less important than liandrys/black torch. regardless, apc is just op and less hands dependent than an actual marksman lel
at least in terms of scaling, marksmen > mage in most cases because crit is just THAT good of a stat to have, especially with ie costing 150g less than rabadons but it's offset by how much more expensive crit/atk spd items are compared to mage items
