There are thousands of faiths all come with different moral codes and ethics, each one says it's the only true, and you never chose yours.
You were imposed this faith onto you by your parents and environment, it's not the outcome of you looking for truth or ideals. You shouldn't feel attached to something that was shoved down your throat.
Personally I'm an atheist simply because I am that disagreeable, i simply cannot live with an idea of some invisible oppressor that cannot be escaped. You can hide from the law, you can run from the tyrants, but God, I hate to imagine a force I never chose, never voted for and can never escape.
Having said that if somebody pointed a gun at my head and told me that I have to join a religion I'd chose Islam simply because Islam offers me something. Islam would let me go to a market, buy a wife and make her cook and carry my children. Islam has practical solutions to the LGBT, Jews, Feminism and basically every plague that's destroying our people.
Christianity is fucking weak and diluted, you don't do anything for the church, the church doesn't do anything for you, the Christian rules and principles aren't upheld, enforced or even believed in. Do you even have a faith in the first place? God says "kill a cheating whore" and you can't do it, are you even a Christian?
