As much as it pains me to say, I don't think The Bad Guys 2 has general appeal. Obviously it works as a kid's film, and it's fucking amazing if you're there for the animation spectacle, AND it kind of works if you're a furry. But it doesn't have the general appeal a film like Back To The Future had, and it doesn't have the Disney sticker on it so it's losing the people who watch anything Disney puts out. If you're not in the previously mentioned categories, you probably won't feel satisfied after watching the film.

Diane's appeal is more of a sensual thing. The dance scene in particular was played extremely sensually. Heavy breathing, bedroom eyes, the way that scene is lit, etc. Also canonically she has at worst pleasant proportions. Wide hips, nice thighs, and she's quite fit.
