so I spent the last two weeks or so painfully trying to get down a process of using diffeomorphic to import characters/props/environments from daz into blender and using blender as my render engine. I have experience with blender so it wasn't my first time using it but the whole process was a massive pain and still is. after all the work I did, I'm now at the point where I just can't get my characters to look as good as they do in daz due to the material conversion so even though I have way more control of the 3D space and environment creation, my characters just look low res. I also run into the fact that although I can edit and import environments into daz, again the material conversation makes it look low res. what a bummer to feel forced to use store assets

good sir, we are a community of probably like 10 at max here. you should share. I also know what you mean - I sometimes change HDRI or randomly tweak render settings and I get extremely fast iray preview and render. I never know what I change to get that
