Yo yo yo, Toonami General. Deep Space Radio here, ready to get you guys some tunes to carry you through the rerun hour.

So we'll start off with this one from MaroMaro1337, a retro Poland cover of Dragostea Din Tei. Don't recognize the name? Try listening, maybe you'll recognize it.

It took me a minute, but I caught on fast enough. It's a fun cover, and the video kinda makes me wanna play badminton a little. Maybe if it wasn't hot as hell outside. Anyway, I don't really have a whole lot else to say about it, check it out.

Next up we've got one from Too Many Zooz called Caravan.

You may or may not vaguely recognize this song - I had my suspicions and checked the comments and sure enough, it's an adaptation of an old jazz classic, and a pretty neat one at that. It's interesting that they made a real music video for this one instead of just filming it guerrilla style like usual, but it's got some nice choreography, so that's nice to see. Anyway, give this one a shot.

Ah, makes sense. Neat that someone recognized it, though. I was gonna guess Kaiju #8, which i haven't gotten around to yet.

Next we've got another Durry number called Bully.

This is peak mid-2000s pop punk and it being a song about people fighting on the internet, it feels perfect for TG. I think these guys might have taken the spot as my second favorite sibling duo band. Lawrence, of course, being the first. But something about these guys has charmed me deeply. They're gutsy, and they've got that raw kind of doing-it-because-we-fucking-wanna vibe. I dunno, call me crazy, it just feels cool.

I'm pretty sure I played some from these folks, but they've got some new tunes out. This is More Dumb by Durry.

Someone in the comments for another song pointed out how their music feels like it's 20 years old in a good way, and I've gotta say I agree. This stuff feels like the kind of stressed-out rock music that isn't quite emo and not grunge, and not the more classical rock. It's the kind of music you'd listen to as a kid when you were still trying to figure stuff out, and that you now again listen to, still trying to figure stuff out. It kinda speaks to me on that level.
