Was literally just reading a poem about another time the Spaniards BTFO the Turks

I just read Lepanto the other day. Magnificent poem. Between that and The Ballad Of The White Horse I almost think he's at his best as a poet. People talk about his theology, his essays, his short stories, his novels, all really good, but I've found his long poems to be spellbinding.

This might be the coolest poem I've ever read. I'm in awe of it. It's even better than the Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
