On the one hand, it's hard to pass up a Master Ball.

On the other hand, the opportunity to travel abroad doesn't come up every day, simply because it's damn expensive. Well outside of the scope of what you could afford, even before your dad lost his job.

So the opportunity to travel in exchange for doing this survey work is certainly tempting.

"What do you think, Holly?" You ask, looking to her, making her jump, apparently pulling her from her own thoughts.

"Well... That sounds nice as well..." She says slowly. "...I'm going to have to think on it." She says after another moment's silence. "Is that okay?" She asks the professor, a little hesitantly.

"Of course." He confirms with a nod. "I'd prefer if I got an answer sooner rather than later of course, but I'm not going to begrudge giving you a week or two to think it over." He assures.

"For the part of me and my friends, we'll take the Master Balls." Martha says, before giving Gareth an apologetic look.

"It's fine." He assures. "I'm not going to force you to abide by what I believe." He adds. "It's not even an Aura Guardian thing, more of a... personal conviction." He explains.

With that, you leave the lab, heading back out into the rain and hurrying on towards Greenshoot's Gym.
