you can always try to put a new fresh installation from the latest release on github next to your current installation to test if it fixes things. nodes register with comfy itself and i have the feeling if you always press install missing nodes on every workflow you drag in the comfy installation installation itself becomes a huge heap of garbage. so setting it up new every once in a while is not the worst idea.
