In pictures: Starmer and Zelenskyy in the gardens of Downing Street

Volodymyr Zelensky has now left Downing Street but we are receiving images of his sit down with Sir Keir Starmer at 10 Downing Street this morning.

Earlier, the Ukrainian president and the prime minister embraced and posed for the cameras in front of Number 10 with a handshake as he arrived in Westminster.

A red carpet had been rolled out for his arrival.

Starmer's meeting with Zelenskyy comes after he said Britain stands ready to "increase pressure" on Russia if necessary.
