I tried using other chans during downtime and it was awful. When your frontpage has threads made 6 months ago, you're better off shutting down.
The reality is that there are no other image BOARDS. Altchans are just 1 or 2 active threads per board, where everyone knows each other. It's basically Discord.
We're better off without the people who would swap us out for that sort of thing.
