Agree, I'm warming up to them but being British isn't a hook in 2025 and references to obscure British comics that never get reprinted isn't enough to build a character foundation on, and let's be real we'll all be dead before Franklin Richards gets laid.
However I disagree with the paring, it should be Rachel and Kitty, they're the ones with all the on page chemistry and history together.
Typical Marvel, editorial sets up an interesting status quo, but then no writer does anything creative with it.
Rae and Betsy haven't even been in the same book together except briefly in the 80's when Betsy was brought over to American comics and after House of M.
I like the idea of two psychics getting together but Marvel hasn't really got creative of psychic sex would be like, I would like to see something like the Morrison silent issue with Rachel and Betsy are exploring each other's mindscape, that's a fun idea.
And I do like their Knight and Mage aesthetic, it doesn't fit with the rest of the X-Men, but at least they have a strong visual identity.
