Out in the wild on a meme post about wplace I saw in the comments people talking about the deltarune art everywhere and that people were getting tired of it because it was uncreative/derivative. But then a handful of people kept claiming "4chan" was responsible for it, saying there was some screenshot floating around that showed an agreement "we" hated the art too but if we spammed it as well it'd make everyone else hate it and to keep spamming it.
It was some really strange roundabout thinking and obvious deflection, but reading these people believe it and moreso still seeing and using 4chan as a one person boogieman was funny.
