>BAE Systems Hägglunds, the Swedish subsidiary of the UK’s BAE Systems, is preparing for the largest order in its history for CV90 infantry fighting vehicles in the 2026 fiscal year.

The agreement is expected to be signed in the second quarter of 2026, with participation from up to six European countries, including Finland, Sweden, Norway, Lithuania, Estonia, and the Netherlands.

According to a company representative, the order will comprise several hundred vehicles, significantly exceeding the scale of previous contracts. The total number of CV90s delivered and on order has already surpassed 1,300 units, with an additional 600 currently in production.

The company is also working to diversify its supply chains to reduce reliance on a single supplier.
