Have a Thinkpad T420 (pic not mine) with 8gb of ram and running Alpine Linux with the Sway window manager. Shit is so comfy writing directly into a terminal emulator. I can convert org-mode files to LaTeX files, or write directly into a template LaTeX file, and then convert that to PDF or EPUB files with one command.

And yes I am fully aware that I set all this up to escape actually having to write for a little while, but it's still fun.
