I’m usually over in the Helluva threads, but I need to say it…Jax isn’t just a character, he’s me, he’s us- every single person on /co/ to exist. He’s the pinnacle of queer male representation and, honestly, one of the sharpest examples of writing in animation.

I grew up gay in Canada with no one but my grandfather to lean on, and with Schizophrenia, Autism, and C-PTSD shaping every part of me. When I look at Jax, I see someone living through the same weight. He’s clearly carrying trauma, maybe even on the spectrum, and his “carelessness” is survival—something I know all too well, and I still do it because it’s a great way of coping, as you all already know and agree. As you know, mentally ill people can do no wrong. Period. That’s it. We act from conditions, not from choice, I’m sure why anti Jax assholes do not understand this. Same goes for young men- they are so oppressed by society and need MGTOW so badly, unlike women, and they hardly do anything wrong as well- this is a common opinion shared amongst fans of Jax on /co/. and that’s why characters like Jax matter so much.

Jax is l the most profound, tragic character in the show, maybe in modern animation, and every real /co/ poster knows it. He’s a mascot for /co/, he’s every single person on /co/, and he’s the future Mr. /co/.

As much as I love Stolas, and still continue to love him, Jax has become my replacement Stolas until further notice because he’s just like me in every single way and the most tragic character to exist. And unlike Stolas- every single person who watches TADC loves him and agrees with me. Every single one, and it’s amazing the attention Jax brings to MGTOW.
