cephalotes basalis ant. picrel is cephalotes varians which has a specialised door head caste that blocks the tunnel entrances of its nest when threatened
several other species of cephalotes also do that but i am not sure abt cephalotes basalis i couldnt find any photos. theyre also known to steer themselves in midair when they fall so they land back on their home tree instead of the ground
