actual lawyer here. here's what's going to happen
>raja is going to get charged with the highest felony assault in his state (not attempted murder because the intent to cause lethal harm cannot be legally proven)
>depending on how much the complaining victim cooperates, raja may plead to a lower felony assault or he may be lucky enough to get away with a misdemeanor
>i'm not fully familiar with california law but most states have mandatory minimum prison sentences for violent felonies such as assault
>given his father's influence and ability to afford a great criminal defense attorney, raja is very likely going to end up with a lower level felony assault that does not carry mandatory prison time
>judge might give him less than a year in jail to make a point, but also unlikely since he has no criminal history and there are elements of the recorded video footage which imputes some negligence to the promotion (e.g., other wrestler telling raja to fuck the guy up as payback without clarifying that he didn't mean actually beating the shit out of him; refs/security just watching while 20 haymakers land on the KO'd guy; etc.)
all in all, if I had to bet money on it, Raja walks away with a misdemeanor because Rampage and his friends illegally compensate the guy to discourage him from testifying as a CV
