Personally I like a smaller watch for daily wear (36-38mm). It's easier to style and doesn't stick out unless its got a fluted bezel. As for underrated? Basically every watch is underrated depending on who you're talking to. I'd just say avoid watches that don't have an in-house movement, but that's just MY 'tism, don't let it hold you back. If I was buying my first watch and didn't have a diameter preference, I'd probably get one of the Seiko Arita porcelain dials. It's a shitter with a cool porcelain dial, what's not to love? This isn't a very helpful post, I realize. Just get what you like and wear it often. (TM)
