This is literally Shaun King's blog. He's the sole source for the claim Trump intervened and says he was told it personally and we should just trust that. How fucking far has /pol/ fallen that SHAUN KING pulling a "trust me bro" is uncritically believed? Go to any of the other articles about this and it says nothing about Trump being involved.

The sole source for Trump having any involvement in this situation comes from Shaun King(Yes, THAT Shaun King) who claims he was told it personally and we should just trust him on that. The screenshot in the OP tweet is taken directly from King's blog.
