The Yellow Sea is the sea between China and South Korea. The Korea Bay is the sea between China and North Korea. The Bohar Bay is practically Chinese internal water. China decided to set up traps in the area, probably because the ROK is a US ally, and then they sank in their own trap and a nuclear submarine full of their own soldiers is now destroyed. Apparently, nearly half of the soldiers involved were actually management and not grunts, possibly because it's one of those "prestige postings" where you're honored to accept the role and they don't do anything but sail in Chinese coastal waters anyway. As a result, nobody was actually doing any work (like avoiding their own traps) and everyone died.
