Maybe this is just me but one piece has one of the best first chapters ever. It sets up the world, its characters and the story perfectly, in fact I think its extremely impressive that that chapter was written by a 23 year old Oda. Most new mangas nowadays cant even come close to hooking up an audience like Oda did with its opening chapter
