Omri arrived in the (Nepal) tourist country after 600 days of reserve duty, and is currently trying to understand how he and his friend Sagi will leave the country: "I have no idea what will happen next. We are doing well for now, we are in a hostel, the people here are very nice. Everyone pretty much left the hostel in the morning, except for a few travelers from all over the world, we are the only Israelis in the hostel, there is a good atmosphere here, there is good food here. We will think about moving to India as soon as we understand whether the land crosses are open and when the current will end."
According to Omri, the insurance companies are trying to help, but they have not yet been able to get a response from the Foreign Ministry: "My mother just spoke to the Foreign Ministry, they didn't answer me, so I activated it and in Israel she was able to make contact. They read her a page from their website and said not to go near Kathmandu - but we are here. They didn't say what could be done, they just referred to a form to fill out, which they can't do either. They don't answer the numbers that are added."
