>the guy i was interested in wasnt a guy at all. i got baited into being a dyke
I recently reread green up to the current point and ironically it feels more like the opposite. Once Aya finds out the guys she was interested in wasn't a guy at allâ„¢, she's only hurt because she thinks Mitsuki has been deceiving her out of meanness. Once they officially become friends, on the very next arc when Chizuru has a woman moment about Aya being too friendly with someone else, Aya goes to Mitsuki's room to tell her off about giving her concert ticket to Chizuru and she's immediately smitten again. From then on, she never questions still having a crush on Mitsuki regardless of gender. It's Mitsuki who automatically assumes Aya only liked her mistaken gender self and it takes her a while until the events lead her to reconsider all of Aya's behavior and go "oh fuck, she's been in love with me, a female girl, all along". Since it's not entirely clear how long Mitsuki has liked Aya romantically at that point, it could be argued the realization itself spurred Mitsuki on to try out this "being a dyke" thing.
