>I haven't made any friends here and almost all of my interactions with others are over the internet now
I understand. I didn't have many friends in my home country either, I haven't been very social for the last year, but I still meet sometimes. When I move there will be no one to turn to, except for a couple of acquaintances in Norway and Switzerland, which I can't afford with my salary. And when you arrived you already had a job and everything? How did you deal with bureaucracy and stuff, hiring translators?
>I think the opportunity is worth doing, especially if you're not that happy with your life where you are now. I'm definitely much happier here than I was in my old city.
I've been planning to move for a long time, but I was planning to do it around 2027 when I save up money, but now the conditions force me to go with almost nothing as there is a high probability that I won't live till 2027. On the plus side, I'm white so I'm not likely to face racism.
