Honestly shonen jump always used to have multiple big shows in almost every generation. You can easily see this from the perspective of /a/ too. Back in the day there used to be individual forums for Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, HxH and more. Even on /a/ all the generals of said shows were very much alive clearing 10 threads at least in the archive. Ignoring that era even the around covid era it was pretty alive with shows like JJK, MHA also having generals that were decently alive. If you go to the archive these days, like right now for example its
>one piece 1/23
>WSJ weekly shonen jump general 1/9
>Kagurabachi 1/3
>JJK modulo 1/2
I dont think there was ever a period of time in WSJ history where there was this little hype for wsj shows, its basically only one piece remaining and once its gone, not one show will have an alive general
