They mentioned that Shiki's lineage carries demon hunter blood, but I fail to see how that makes him "inhuman" to the same degree that vampire or oni blood would... Is a demon hunter not just a normal human? I guess with how many different factors are at play with Shiki, his urges are harder for him to resist, but even then I find this "autonomous killing" situation somewhat hard to believe. There must be something more here.
