>the game takes place several years in the future, right before the events of A New Hope

>Merrin has also been trained in the Jedi arts, but still uses her Night Sister magic

>Kal frequently leaves to search for potential force sensitive children to bring back for training
>while on one of his scouting missions, Kal is ambushed and captured by the empire, including a mysterious dark side Jedi
>Merrin and Kata can immediately sense Kal is in danger
>Kata wants to find Kal and rescue him, but Merrin refuses and says it’s too dangerous
>Kata goes anyway and the game revolves around her search for Kal
>Merrin eventually catches up with Kata
>They find Kal, but Merrin is killed
>Kal goes crazy dark side over this and kills everyone except dark Jedi that captured him
>Kata is forced to fight Kal and she ends up beating him
>Kata then goes after dark Jedi and finds out it’s Mara Jade
>they have a final confrontation, but it ends in a draw
