In the ancient wheat fields of Aratta (Ukraine) some 18,000 years ago, lived two proto-Ukrainian brothers named Taras and Mykola. Renowned for their humility and intellectual talents they embarked on a mission to bestow upon humanity a precious (Ukrainian) gift that would transcend civilization itself leaving behind a distinctly Ukrainian mark on the universe: the world’s first language.

Our hero's journey beings when both brothers embarked to the famed Library of Oleksanderia located deep inside the grottos of the Kamyana Mohyla (Ukraine) which became the epicenter of their grand scholarly undertaking. Tara as the visionary and Mykola as the idealist, decided that this language would revolve around a singular yet powerful and innovative linguistic concept: "дaй" (dai), meaning "give to me."

"Brothers and sisters of Aratta!" Taras proclaimed standing atop a makeshift proto-EU podium. “We shall create a language that embodies the spirit of our perpetual demands, where the basic linguistic principal shall be 'DAI!' Taras then went on to proclaim, "so ask not what you can do for Ukraine my sisters... but ask what others can DAI to Ukraine!" Taras ended his public diatribe by coining the famous Ukrainian dictum: "If you can't give us some financial support, okay, please.. give us a credit, and we will give you back money after the war.”
