What is the way forward for young men?
I’m 25, I make about $70k a year driving a trash truck. Live with my mom still, can’t afford to move out and get my own place. Dating scene is a nightmare, I’ve never been in a relationship and why would I want to be when I don’t even have my own house and make shit money. Went to college at 18, dropped out at 19 because I realized how gay and a waste of time/money it was. 19-22 I fell for the trades meme, ended up hurting my back on a job and was a cripple for about a year. By the grace of God I healed and worked odd jobs until I started working for a trash co. Despite all that it seems my situation is better than most. My friends are all in debt either from a useless degree or cc’s, unemployed, or work some minimum wage job. The guys I know in the trades are all getting less work due to how shitty the economy is. What is the way for young men to get ahead? Do I have to work in Alaska on an oil rig, or be a merchant marine or something? With AI coming all these learn to code bros are getting replaced, as is anyone with a meme degree.
