I've started doing that as well. I like taking things that are on private trackers but are dead/non-existent on public ones and seeding there. I know I'll likely remain the only seeder, but it makes me happy knowing I could help someone get access to something rare. Maybe some of them will eventually end up on private trackers as well, or simply start caring about media preservation similarly to me.
