a majority of the price action you see is done by computers (algorithmic trading). you will have heavier volume with stock making big headlines in the news due to more retail traders trading the stock. the point being trading against computers isnt profitable. just wait for the right stock to trade (a stock breaking out on news that has heavy volume)
