Both are just fine. But, I would say that The Rescuers is probably better as a film. It's more original. It's the last film that the old school animators really worked on. It spawned a number obvious clones and imitators. I think, in terms of filmmaking, it represents something that is more defined and daring than its sequel by far. The aspect that the sequel is best known for is being the first digitally inked film, which I won't say is nothing at all, but the film could kinda easily just not exist and Beauty and the Beast could probably just take it instead. There's a reason why Down Under is the blackest sheep of the Renaissance, it just sort of exists, and doesn't really have much of a strong identity. But, still, it's not a bad film, and I certainly like the new art a lot more than the xeroxed original. Either way, Bianca is cute and I like her.
