The more I think about it the more the yellow paint interests me.
In the Labs, the yellow paint containment block. The big yellow room on F3 across from Adjustment. In Adjustment theres the new card hacker mats, and across from that is the yellow paint room. The yellow paint room drops down to the F2 area you need to go to and opens one of the doors, and the 2nd door needs that the new card hacker. So, ultimately, if you follow the yellow paint youre still stuck pissing in the wind and having to explore through the clusterfuck of rooms that is Adjustment the old fashioned ways anyways.
Howany times does yellow paint get used actually unironically. If theres yellow paint by an easter egg or in front of a door that requires 3 different adventures to open, it doesnt count. Ive seen it in some areas, but it was always on top of other more obvious clues. Sometimes I feel like its a shitpost on the playtesters being confused in certain areas. Take the night realm for example. On the 3rd or 4th vist you enter an extremely restricted area. Theres not a lot of places to go. But then theres this... night realmish vine wall. Gamer logic says this is a ladder at first glance. BUT, in front of its is a yellow ladder, and a shade is one his knees staring at it. It almost comes across as passive aggressive. Like
>oh yeah, area too cunfusing, huh?
>cant see the vines, huh?
>aint never played a game with climbable vines in your life, huh?!
>ok, well,how about this...
>LOOK
>I MADE A SHADE
>STARING AT AN UNCLIMABLE PIECE OF YELLOW LADDER
>RIGHT INFRONT OF THE CLIMBABLE VINES
>IF THAT IS STILL TOO MUCH FOR YOU THEN JUST SIT THERE LOOKING AT THE YELLOW LADDER WITH THE SHADE UNTIL YOU FINALLY DEVELOP A SECIND BRAINCELL WITH WHICH TO FORM YOUR FIRST SYNAPTIC CONNECTION.

Like its either used in a useless way that I cant help but feel its shitposting, or used in such a HEY DUMBFUCK way at points I could see people being tripped up in, that it still feels like its shitposting.
