I like how MGS2, released nov 2001 (delayed by 9/11), predicted something happening in the financial district of NY... but the towers are untouched.
It's just bizarre how they were so right, yet so wrong.

They definitely exploited it, but they clearly knew some things would be too much.
Plus the fact that the twin towers are there in the final moments of the game despite them not being there in reality when it had come out in nov 2001 is kinda amusing to me though.
The thought that you would get this game in november, the fact that these towers wouldn't actually exist by then and then the thought that this was literally called the "manhattan incident" is just deeply funny to me. As a kid, looking into 9/11 was a bit of a game for me, strangely though, I've only just recently started MGS. How bizarre.
