The data cap is definitely better. Even green codexes are labeled "Very High". I was cruising along from 80-105, but then 107 hit me with bad RNG after bad RNG so it was 100% survival mode LMAO.

Only the save data, and not by much. Theoretically you can comfortably grind lv80 yellow codexes. One small extra perk would be having enough orbs for generating new ones.
