If you haven't already, you can unlock an instance called Stone, Sky, Sea that puts you up against a striking dummy with a time limit to clear its health bar. Choosing which "fight" to practice will give the striking dummy more or less health, and it's a good measure of if your damage is on pace for that fight in particular.
