Don't you upload your commissions yourself? That's what I do. Artists deleting their work intentionally sucks though. Artists are the biggest threat to art preservation. I know this because I am having to replace nearly two decades worth of files by going to their sources, only to find some of those sources no longer exist. The deletion might be due to things beyond their control though, like being banned, work/s being taken down due to rule violations, or a host closing down.
