It's super rare, but it happens every now and then.
The trick is to make it undoubtedly clear that you really do want to surrender and don't have any weapons or other dangerous things on you. Also go where the drone leads you, as soon as you try to run away it attacks you.
This is the part most ziggers don't seem to understand.
