Healin Good Review 16!
Sorry for the lateness, DnD ran long. For better or worse, I really love this Shmoozy melodrama shit. Especially when they only elude to what took place.
Summary for the anons that need it, part 1: The girls are making their way to the great friendship tree to marvel at its power. Only when they get there, the tree is in the final throws of life. A grumpy old man appears and makes fun of them for believing in such silly things like eternal friendship, while explaining that a recent wind storm decapitated it. After the old man leaves, Hinata makes fun of him, only for Nodoka to point out the deep sadness the old man is hiding. Turning to the tree, the spirit within does know the old man and the friends he use to visit with. The spirit requests the girls try and mend whatever happened to the fractured relationship, giving them a lead to a cafe in town. At the cafe the girls converse with the waiter, trying to get some info on the whereabouts of the two lost friends, when coincidentally an old couple walk in. The girls find out the old couple are the two friends and Nodoka immediately tries get them to meet the grumpy old man. Chiyu quickly realizes the couple's issue, the wedding bands on their fingers, and the couple vaguely explain how some things aren't so easily overcome. The girls return to the tree and find the grumpy old man and beg him to go to the cafe; he refuses. At a loss the girls come together to pledge their eternal friendship, before coming up with a plan: a send off party for the tree!
