I prefer to treat them more as a snapshot than a retelling, it helps share the overall vibe of the character rather than a retelling of life history. Trying to do the latter just leads to very cramped little boxes with too many paragraphs. Which is hard enough to do because stream of consciousness and all that but sheets like that don't need much updating which means I can just leave them in a folder and rarely need to doodle more on them.

When you've a fave, you've a fave. No shame in that. I'm sure everyone with multiple characters plays strong favourites. I do limit who I bring forward across the games though, only four of my Skyrim roster precede Skyrim itself. Pending possible modding project remakes that might revive some old characters.
