I am afraid that I might have herpes - if so how bad is it and how long does it take to find out? Maybe I'm just paranoid and I don't really know what other way there is to avoid it outside of just literally never kissing anyone or going on dates.

This'll seem like the reverse blackpill thread but do you prefer a guy who looks better but has terrible social ineptitude or someone who looks worse but has good social skills & a strong family? My childhood was very hellish and isolated so I just brute forced all of my romantic and sexual encounters through the awkwardness, I didn't really care when things went poorly, and I was pleasantly surprised when they went well. Lookswise I pretty much started dressing better, lost weight, and put on some more muscle and that was enough.
