I think it’s actually over, this can easily arguably justifiably be used in combination with the fact that the government is reopening mental institutions again to institutionalize tons of trannies and queer people deemed “a threat or risk” to the public, which many could be construed to be that way due to the psychological strain of dysphoria causing many trans youth to act out. Combine this, with the fact that being involuntarily institutionalized bans you from owning firearms, and participating in cis society largly, this WILL easily be pushed as a bipartisan solution to keep guns and weapons out of “mentally unstable” individuals. In this current climate, I think that is actually a very plausible reaction to this, of course this would affect other neurodivergent people (who are also often queer too) like folks with severe bpd and schizophrenia but this will be used to target us and make it so we can’t fight back. The maggots won. I can see the executive order and bipartisan legislation now.
