I'm just as pissed off as I was back then, as I am now. Valve ruined one of the funnest gaming communities I've ever been a part of solely because they wanted to cater to a minority of their fanbase. Nobody likes this update, no one ever liked this update. The anger of my 17 year old self is still fresh nearly a decade later. I dreamt about one day getting australium weapons, getting all kinds of cool gear, becoming an integrated part of the community, but since that update, all of that motivation completely went down the shitter. None of that maters when there's no community to take part in.
