And to top it all off, the advertising gimmick of RNG story branches only appears twice, only matters once, and can be completely ignored by the chapter select. Not saying that RNG story branches are necessarily good design, but taking away player control and locking the chapter select at the start would fit with the themes and generate discussion since players would have "their" story
