You also cannot help but admire it, to show such ferocity even in the face of futility/certain defeat is the embodiment of the indomitable human spirit. It provokes within you the urge to protect and to nurture, to cultivate. When you watch a defeated or scared cat show love again, you're not seeing domination or something being broken into submission, you're watching something be healed.

Pros:

Cons:
>A feral kitten may scratch you if handled improperly. Depending on your level of tolerance, the pain might be entirely beneath your reaction, or it could cause you to produce profuse tears and you will need mummy to kiss it better.
>Feral kittens and cats in general have a stronger sense of boundaries and consent than other animals.
>Other men may see kittens as their competition in a masculine hierarchy and will criticize you for not dominating it harshly.
