I must say, while I know people are upset that they did not get titles for second and third place, I am please that I am not since I won.

Like, if I ALSO lost then I would be mad too over not winning a title so then I wouldn't be able to help OTHERS who lost feel better about being losers. Some people are just illogical about the feelings of people who win things and stuff.
