Poland returns 16-year-old asylum seeker to Russia

According to Onet, a teenager from St. Petersburg swam across a river near the village of Sievskoye in the Kaliningrad region in August and ended up on the Polish side. He was detained by border guards there.

Despite the boy's intention to seek asylum, he was returned to the Russians. A criminal case has already been opened against him in the Russian Federation. The boy faces up to 2 years in prison.
