I exclusively play coop vs AI, raptors, and scav games. It's probably the most fun I've had gaming, especially after suffering through the disappointment that was Silksong slop. I just feels like there's more creativity with builds, or I actually have time to think and build. The only time it actually gets overwhelming is with +70 barbs or epic difficulty with raptor and scavs (especially on maps with no metal) It's been a couple months since I played pvp, and the only reason I would jump back on is to lower my openskill rating (>100 hours and I'm hovering around 20 openskill). I'm a filthy casual and mainly go frontline,
pvp feels more like luck, I either roll my opponent or get rolled. Especially on Supreme Isthmus or Glitters, I quit pvp because I had t2 arty cleaning me out within 5 minutes. Had the worst luck for like four games in a row while I was holding the front on my own and the backline is just spamming basic solar collectors with zero eco lol. Then the 5 minute t2s roll in so I had to quit that for awhile for my own health.
Anyways, this games pretty fucking neato, even if I'm not that good. Still enjoy the modes I jump into. I'm pretty decent at eco now, but I still haven't jumped back into pvp.
The nutty raptor plate no mex can get fucked tho only beat it twice, only my comm survived the queens. I did pretty well last game tho, had a line of towers and anti air, with my comm picking up scrap on the front. The only reason my base got wiped is 2 queens immediately spawned on top of my base. The only reason we survived is some madlad built nothing but t2 arty and saved us all in the end.
ty for coming to my ted talk
