Why is the aviation industry growing so much?

>green agenda pushing costs up
>stagnant incomes
>more WFH jobs, less need for face to face meetings in the white collar sector
>large areas of MENA that were tourist destinations became no-go zones over the last 20 or so years
>gay millennial "wanderlust" fad on the decline

Yet aviation endures! Aside from places that are involved in some kind of war, there is not a single airport in the world that's experiencing a decline in passenger numbers. You can go to the most stagnant country you can think of and I GUARANTEE their airports all have some type of expansion plans and are seeing ever increasing numbers of passengers.
