tekken has been going downhill since T6 when that fucker murray joined the design team, it started with the introduction of bound, rage and awful characters like Lars, Alisa, Bob, etc. the game will never be like before, just watch a clip from 5 so you can see what i mean, moves had less range and were flawed instead of covering almost every option, every character is a stance machine now with shit like 1,2,f stance, or 3,2,f stance, combos are ridiculously long, regular bnbs take 10s on average when the longest combos took 5-6s at most before, zoom ins and slow downs everywhere, they made rage art animations longer in 8 compared to 7, the game is also 100gb+ of pure UE slop that looks and performs like shit with random fps drops during character select and round starts as wells as particle effects that make it impossible to look at, tekken used to be about exagerated martial arts with anime sprinkled on top now they became fully commited to all the anime shit, no balance change will ever "save" tekken 8 or make it fun to play
